General Purpose of Privacy Policy.

T-SWAP/TRADE SWAPPERS, INC., is an online service committed to respecting the privacy of our members.  We want you to feel safe and secure in using our services.  Our Privacy Policy seeks to set forth how we collect online information from you and how your information is used and / or shared by T-SWAP/TRADE SWAPPERS, INC (“T-SWAP”). 

T-SWAP provides a broad and diverse area of services each of which requires different information in order to provide the best possible service to the members in each particular area.  It is therefore important to T-SWAP that you fully understand how the information you provide is used and protected.

Your individually provided information will be stored and processed by T-SWAP and may be shared with T-SWAP affiliated companies on a world-wide basis in order to provide you and our other members with the best possible service.

The T-SWAP site may contain links to other websites which are owned or affiliated with T-SWAP, but are necessary to the providing of the best and most up to date services our members demand and deserve.  T-SWAP has no control over the linked websites and is not responsible for the privacy statements or policies of any link you may choose to utilize from our website. It is your responsibility to review the privacy policies and statements of any links you choose to use.

How and What Information T-SWAP Collects and Uses and How the Information is Used.

When you register for membership or request special service, we request or may request you provide personal information, including, but not limited to your full name, address, email address, telephone number(s), credit card information, social security number, contact information, billing information and a personal identification name/number and/or a password.  In an age where identity theft is of major concern, we want to be certain we have all the information required to set up your membership registration and also accurately reflect the areas of T-SWAP in which you are most interested in so that we may provide you with the service you expect and deserve.  We also want to assure ourselves, you, and those members with whom you deal that all members are the individuals or businesses which they claim to be. For example, should you access the social / business networking   related services, we collect personal and demographic data to create a T-SWAP profile which may used to assist you and other members to more accurately obtain the result they desire.

Please be advised that T-SWAP is not intended for minors, those under the age of 18 years, and will not knowingly collect any personal information from minors.

We may gather certain information about your use of T-SWAP regarding the particular services you access or areas within the website and links you visit.  This information is designed to make your use of T-SWAP more efficient and personalized to those particular services or activities in which you have expressed a repeated interest or used on a regular basis.  This information might result in determining an area members have interest for which we presently do not have service provider or link.  Based upon this information we thereafter offer the service to our members.  This personal information is not disclosed.

We want each member to have a personal feeling that because of the information provided, the services provided to each member will be more fulfilling and enjoyable experience satisfying all the needs and reasons you became a member of T-SWAP.

We may use your contact information to advise you by email or other communication about updates and additional T-SWAP services which may be offered in the future and which you may or may not be interested in.  You are never required to use all the services offered by T-SWAP.

You may have the opportunity to email T-SWAP to express your concerns or offer recommendations to improve the T-SWAP experience. All such information shall become and remain the property of T-SWAP.

We do not disclose your personal information to third parties except as provided as follows:

 1.   We will disclose information to a third party or parties if you give expressed permission to the disclosure. 
 2.   We disclose information to companies and individuals we employ to perform functions on our behalf such as billing, processing credit card payments, web servers, and providing you with efficient and helpful customer service.
 3.   We will disclose information if we are legally required to do so by law or a governmental entity for purposes including, but not limited to matters involving the personal safety of members or the general public.
 4.  We disclose and transfer information to a third party who may acquire all or a majority ownership of our business.  Also, information will be disclosed in the event of a bankruptcy filing, if required.  . 

You must remember that some profile information may be disclosed to other members in order to facilitate the relationship or proposed relationship with such member and conversely the same information will be disclosed to you.  The most personal information disclosed will be with the social relationship services provided by T-SWAP.  The members will not have access tour contact information or information intended to prevent identity theft.

Any information you voluntarily provide to another member or a third party provider shall be deemed not to be a violation of any provisions of this statement of Privacy Policy and shall be considered information you voluntarily chose to provide, but were not required to provide.

We use “cookies” to help personalize and maximize your online experience and make your use more efficient and relevant to your expressed needs.  A “cookie” is a text file that is placed on your hard drive by a Web page service.  Cookies allow you to store your email address without having to re-enter it.  Cookies are not used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer.  Cookies are uniquely assigned to your computer and can only be read by a Web service in the domain that issued the cookie to you.  You may have the ability to accept or decline cookies.  Be advised, however, that if you choose to decline or delete cookies, the result may be to hinder performance and negatively impact your experience on T-SWAP.

Modification of the Information You Have Supplied T-SWAP.

T-SWAP recognizes that information you initially provide or provide at a later time can change and therefore require amendment to your account information or profile.  You may modify this information at any time.

To amend your account information, log onto your T-SWAP account, go to your Account Profile, review the information and then edit it with the options provided. It is a simple and quick process which we strongly advise to keep your account and profile up to date so that the services and information provided to you will always be current and relevant to your needs.

You may at any time close your account, delete your profile, and close your T-SWAP account.  If this event was to occur, we will remove all of our copies of your account information and profile, except for any archived information not available online.

Security of Information.

The privacy of our members is very important to us.  We use commercially reasonable, technical, and organization measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure.  However, we cannot guarantee that unauthorized third parties will never be able to defeat those measures or use your personal information for improper purposes. 

Your credit card information is protected through the use of encryption which makes it difficult for your credit card information to be intercepted or stolen while being transmitted.  We use a service company to process credit card transactions.

Remember, when you close out of your account, be sure to close your browser window when you have completed your visit.  T his will ensure that others cannot access your personal information and correspondence.

To help maintain the highest degree of security and privacy, you and you alone are solely responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your passwords and / or any account information.  Be careful when online and what information you choose to divulge to third parties.

Changes to This Statement of  Privacy Policy.

We may change our Privacy Policy.  Changes will be posted on the website so that you will be informed as to the nature of the changes. Your continued use of our services after the posting of the changes shall be deemed your agreement to the changes made.
